always part of the mix. Our dinners provide you the opportunity to:

2) Learn about important industry topics (many of which include continuing education credits) from various industry
experts.

Topic: Contractor Certification: From Recognition to Requirement
Technically, a contractor only needs a license to do business and certifications for specific types of work. But the world is changing. Increasingly contractors are looking for a competitive edge and a way to help improve quality control and efficiency. Longer-term, the codes and standards are gradually moving toward requiring special inspections on load bearing cold-formed steel installations. This program shares case studies into how some cold-formed steel contractors are successfully incorporating certification programs into their business model, and takes a look ahead at what the industry is doing to anticipate what CFS contractors may need in the future to address code requirements.
